July 4th is a little over a week away, and in case you’re thinking about your holiday outfit at the last minute, I have 5 outfit ideas for you.

If you’re heading to a neighborhood picnic, BBQ, a fireworks show in the city, or backyard, here’s some outfit inspo.

4th of July Outfits

1. A striped tee, denim skirt, and strappy slides

If you picked up this striped tee for my travel capsule, it’s a great option for the 4th. I’m pairing it with a longer denim skirt and some inexpensive slide sandals I picked up at my last Target run. They’re minimal and keep the leg line nice and long, even with a longer skirt. This skirt is from Gap Factory from last summer. They’re showing it again this year. I love how it has a slit in the front to break up all the denim. Size up in the top and skirt. I’m wearing a MEDIUM top and SIZE 14 skirt.

2. A white dress with red sandals

I wore this white eyelet Amazon dress to a party for Adam’s work and loved it. Wear this to a BBQ or party. It’s similar in style to the Anthropologie Somerset mini dress. With its notch neck, short sleeves, and defined waistline, this style is flattering on every body type. I’m wearing a MEDIUM. The large was too big up top. Red sandals make this dress festive and are in fashion. I’ve linked a few options to shop.

3. A white and red striped tee with a denim skirt

If you’re hanging near home or heading to a family party, here’s an easy, low-key, festive outfit. Combine that denim skirt with a white and red striped tee. I’m wearing platform slides for comfort. The height is nice with a longer skirt.

4. A navy shirtdress and two-strap sandals

Any blue dress is great for July 4th, so look in your closet for one. I love this one from Amazon. It’s easy to wear, put together and even has pockets. These two-strap Birkenstock-inspired sandals are comfy and laid-back for hanging around watching fireworks. I’m wearing the dress in a MEDIUM.

5. A red t-shirt dress with white and red striped Adidas

A red dress is another festive option. I’m pairing this one with my white and red stripe Adidas, which are comfy for walking long distances. The brown of the belt bag ties into the brown gum soles on the shoes. This dress is from Gap Factory, and I’ve linked a similar style you can get on the website or Amazon (did you know Amazon carries Gap Factory—just search for the Gap).
